Inspired by the moving meditation disciplines of tai chi chuan and hatha yoga, liberate your breath, muscles and joints. Movement is an effective method of self care for mind and body. Paula focuses on functional movements that are built upon the principles of muscular stabilisation (ie. core/abdomen, shoulder and hip) to improve natural spinal mobility and to develop strength. Through body weight exploration, stretching, balance and breath you will develop and harness your physical-mental stability. The key is mindful movement, modification and adapting in the moment to find your dynamic centre. Instruction can be provided in both water or on land as both invite different levels of muscular engagement, awareness and benefit.
