Meridian Therapy Water

Meridian therapy is a holistic health approach embracing an individual's mind-heart-body connection and recognises self-healing potential. It improves energy levels, immunity and quality of sleep and decreases tension-pain. In water, I offer Watsu aquatic bodywork.

Meridian therapy originates from Oriental medicine. Meridians are the pathways that carry vital energy and information throughout the body and communicate directly with our nervous and circulatory systems. Specific points and areas along these pathways are stimulated through various techniques. In water I use acupressure, massage and stretching.

During Watsu, the body is gently swayed, massaged and guided into various shapes inviting the mind-body to relax. Mental and physical tensions soften and release in the hold of warm water. The gentle force of hydrostatic pressure also benefits the body. The skin and muscles are pressed whilst our joints decompress resulting in improved blood circulation and increased joint range of motion.

Sessions provided in Surry Hills, Sydney.
