Yoga, Tai chi chuan and Pilates complement each other seamlessly with a foundation of concentration, awareness and breath control. The shapes created in Hatha yoga invite focus and stillness. The fluid form of Tai chi chuan builds strength and anchoring. The grace of Pilates harnesses dynamic stability.
My classes focus on improving functional movement that is built upon a foundation of muscular stabilisation. Through body weight exploration, stretching, balance and breath you will develop better posture, feel more vital and at peace. The key is mindful movement. Through consistent practice, you will harness your dynamic centre, modifying and adapting to find your balance in everyday life.
