In water I offer Watsu, an invitation to surrender to the hold of warm water. The body is gently swayed, massaged and stretched into various shapes inviting the mind-heart-body to relax. Watsu offers a unique way of accessing the body though buoyancy, softening tension and pain.
The gentle force of hydrostatic pressure also benefits the body. The skin and muscles are pressed whilst our joints decompress resulting in improved blood and lymphatic circulation and increasing joint range of motion. The head and neck are supported throughout Watsu and the ears are submerged. There are moments of flowing movement and stillness points to process and release.
Sessions provided at Capybara Bathing in Surry Hills, Sydney.
